python-byteplay software package provides Python bytecode manipulation library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-byteplay
python-byteplay is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-byteplay package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-byteplay *
You will get with python-byteplay package name, version, architecture and description in a table
